[Abstract]:
To face the challenges of global energy shortages, environmental pollution, and driving safety, the automotive industry is developing towards thedirection of electricmotors, intelligent devices, networking, andcarsharing.

To face the challenges of global energy shortages, environmental pollution, and driving safety, the automotive industry is developing towards the direction of electric motors, intelligent devices, networking, and car sharing.New policies and market demands have encouraged various automotive enterprises to invest more and more in the research of these new technologies, and lately, the amount, quality, and intellectual property achievements of R&D personnel in these fields have all been significantly improved. Not just ideals anymore, many new innovations are now integrated into actual automobile assembly and have become popular in the automotive market.

In order to explore how to train automotive professionals that are highly skilled in the disciplines of new energy and intelligent driving, Chiway Auto Education, together with Shanghai Jiao Tong University's China-UK Low Carbon College, held a seminar on "New Energy and Intelligent Automotive Network Professional Training", on March 28, in the Lingang Campus of the Jiao Tong University. Attendees included the former director of the Automotive Industry Training Centre and Professor-level Senior Engineer Pu Weida, Shanghai University of Engineering Science's Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor Wu Changshui, Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Assistant Professor Dong Xue, Shanghai Communications Polytechnic's Associate Professor Ma Guiqiu, and many technical experts of GM factories.

The expert hosts introduced in detail how to develop job competency modelcore curriculum content, construction plans for training/experimentation areas, teacher certification, and class material construction schemes according to the current evolutional trends of intelligent automobile network technology and forecasts of future employment positions.

Considering the new needs of automotive enterprises, experts have conducted thorough discussions on how to divide the disciplines of personnel training, integrate multi-disciplinary courses, train practical skills, and acquire vocational certificates. Many of these discussions ultimately reached a consensus. It was agreed that the training and orientation of higher-level vocational students should be matched with the job requirements of intelligently-networked automobile systems work, the integration of schools and enterprises should be in-depth, and the training of talents should be targeted so that the certification is relevant to the job requirements of these enterprises. It was also agreed that new energy automobiles are an important topic, that self-driving car technology must be improved upon, and that the reasonable set-up of courses in multi-disciplinary fields can be improved with an increase of practical training projects. The course research and development team of the Chiway Auto Education will fully consider and adapt these experts' suggestions, so as to further enhance and enrich the course construction plan.

This seminar symbolizes an integration of industry and education, which greatly promotes the training of practical talent. Chiway Auto Education will rely on the leading domestic industrial resources, top-level expert consultations, and top-level technical teams to provide more professional career integration solutions for the industry, and strive to be a demonstrated leader in the field of automobile vocational training.

Finally, Ms. Han Yalan, General Manager of the Chiway Auto Business Department, issued employment letters to some of the invited experts.
